Krotz-Defiance Auto Buggy Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . They were marketed as Krotz .

History

Alvaro S. Krotz founded the company in 1903 in Springfield , Ohio . In March 1903 he announced the production and in June 1903 the marketing.  The brand name was Krotz . 1904 ended the production. Krotz was later involved in the Krotz-Defiance Auto Buggy Company .The offer included electric cars . The vehicles had solid rubber tires .

Alvaro S. Krotz had already gained experience in the automotive industry with the Krotz Manufacturing Company . In February 1908, together with JA Deindoerfer, John Diehl, CP Harley, DF Krotz, WG Lehman and August Martin, he founded the company. The seat was in Defiance , Ohio . The production of automobiles ran until 1911. The only model was called Gas-Electric Buggy .
