The company was founded on January 14, 1982 in  California . Founder was the Bavarian Anton Ostermeier. 1982  began the production of automobiles. Some vehicles were exported to Japan .1989 ended production. After 23 January 2003, nothing is known.  Until 1987, about 18  vehicles with a total of about 250 vehicles built.

Anton Ostermeier also operated West Coast Car Sales Inc. , based in Gardena. This company existed from 28 October 1974 to 5 July 1996. Likewise, a source names the Gull-Wing Car Co. in Gardena as a temporary manufacturer of the vehicles.

The only model was the replica of a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL . A grid frame formed the base. Various engines powered the vehicles. These included a six-cylinder engine from the Mercedes-Benz 116 series with a displacement of 2800 cc and engines from Chrysler and Corvette . Striking feature of the coupe were the gullwing doors .
