Elegant Motors Inc.

 Elegant Motors Inc. was an American manufacturer of relica kit car automobiles . 

Company DO Amy and H. Passwater founded the company in Indianapolis , Indiana 1973.  The production of cars and kit cars began. The brand name was Elegant  . As of March 6, 1980, there was a branch in Sarasota , Florida . 2000 the production ended. On April 12, 2013, the company was dissolved. 

The offer consisted mainly of replicas of classic automobiles. These included AC Cobra  , Cheetah , Lamborghini Countach  and Mercedes-Benz 500K .

852 Auburn Speedster , 856 Auburn Speedster and 898 Auburn Replica were replicas of Auburn models 

The 820 SC Cord Phaeton was similar to a Cord model .

Somewhat more independent was the model La Grande Sportster (also called Le Grande Sportster ).  It was inspired by a Duesenberg in the 1930s.
