Crown Motor Car Company
Crown Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles in the 1910s. The brand name was Crown.
The company was founded in March 1913 in Louisville , Kentucky . BF Lambert with experience at the Lambert Automobile Company was President, AB Lambert Vice President and CH Lambert Secretary and Treasurer. As late as 1913, the production of automobiles began. 1914 ended production. The Lamberts then founded the Hercules Motor Car Company in New Albany , Indiana .
A Cyclecar ,with a four-cylinder engine with 1700 cc displacement and 14 hp power powered via a friction gear and a propeller shaft to the rear axle. The chassis had 229 cm wheelbase . Of these, only a few vehicles were created.This was followed by the model A, a standard model. It was bodyworked as a roadster
There were no links to the Detroit Auto Vehicle Company and the Crown Motor Vehicle Company , which used the same brand name.
