CA Coey & Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles in the early part of the 20th century. The brand name was Coey .

History

Charles A. Coey founded the company in Chicago in 1901 in Illinois . He then started with the production of automobiles. By 1902 ended vehicle production.

Coey also ran a car rental , a driving school and a dealership for Thomas vehicles.

Later In 1913 as Coey-Mitchell Automobile Company, where he again produced vehicles until 1917.

One model was an electric car . The electric motors were purchased. Of these, at least ten vehicles were created.  Another model had a self-made gasoline engine . The single - cylinder two-stroke engine made the 5 hp .
