Blackstone Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles only in 1916.
History
ML Rogers, LL Irwin and Harry W. Davis founded the company in 1916. The seat was in Chicago and the plant in Momence , both in Illinois . The vehicles were marketed as Blackstone . End of 1916 ended production, when the company was dissolved.
The vehicles consisted of many purchased parts. The original price was $845 US . For comparison: A Ford Model T cost in early 1916 as a sedan $740.
