Bangert Enterprises was an American automaker. The brand name was Bangert .

History

Noel Bangert founded the company in California in 1954 . John Treverbaugh took over the designs in 1959 and in turn handed them over to Tom Bednar in 1960. By 1963 ended the production.

The Bangert Sports Car was a kit car with a fiberglass body inspired by the contemporary from the time Chevrolet Corvette . The kit was designed for wheelbases from 2438 mm to 2642 mm (96-104 inch). The steel box Chassis, drive and engine varied according to customer requirements and donor vehicle such as a MG. Most commonly engines used came from Cadillac the V8 engine with 5424 cc engine capacity (184 kW) 250 bhp. The kit cost US $495.
