Automotive manufacturer of Chicago , Illinois , USA from 1899 to 1901.

 

Avery & Jennis Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles . The brand name was Avery & Jennis .

History

The company had its headquarters at 28 West Washington Street in Chicago in Illinois . Originally it made bicycles . Later, gasoline engines , carburettors and silencers were added.

 The first prototype of an automobile was created in 1899. 1900 the main production began. 1901 ended the car production.The company was still used thereafter as a repair shop, 

The company had its own model in the assortment. In addition, it was possible to make vehicles according to customer requirements. These could either have a gasoline engine or a steam engines from the time .
