Abenaque Machine Works was an American company from the early part of the 20th century.
History
The Colgate family founded the company in 1883 at Westminster Station in Vermont . The aim was the production of agricultural equipment and the like. Mentioned are engines , tractors and pumps. In 1900, a car was built. In 1914, the company moved to Marlborough , New Hampshire . In August 1915, production ended as a result of bankruptcy .
The only car model had a gasoline engine . It did not go into mass production because the company wanted to limit itself to its main areas of activity.
