A. Howard Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles in the 1910s.The brand name was Howard .
Adam Howard has been making carriages in Galion , Ohio since the 1880s . In 1911 he enterd the car business with the Howard Motor Car Company , but failed, without having produced a vehicle.
On September 6, 1916, he founded the A. Howard Company in the same city. For this he took over his coach company. He became President, RW Johnson Vice President and AW Monroe Secretary and Treasurer. In the same year began the production of automobiles. In 1917, the production ended first. In 1919, a single vehicle was presented at the New York Automobile Show .
The standard vehicles from 1916 to 1917 had a six-cylinder engine with 50 hp . The chassis had 305 cm wheelbase . The construction was an open touring car . The original price was $1800 US . The vehicle of 1919 also had a six-cylinder engine with 50 hp. He came from Supreme Motors Corporation . Also this vehicle was bodyworked as a touring car. It has been preserved.
