Electra (Storage Battery Power Company)

Automotive manufacturer of Chicago , Illinois; United States of America from 1913.

 

Storage Battery Power Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .The brand name was Electra .

History 

The company was based in Chicago , Illinois . Mainly it made batteries and other parts for other manufacturers of electric cars. From 1913 there own cars were created.  vehicle production ended in the same year.

They built electric cars. The electric motor made 2.5 hp and drove the rear axle. Many parts were made by myself. The only body shape was a two-seater roadster . The chassis had 216 cm wheelbase . The original price was $750.

There was no connection to Electra Manufacturing Company of Los Angeles , which also sold vehicles as Electra .
