 Saber Automotive was an American manufacturer of kit car automobiles by G & W motors . 

History

The company was based in Waukesha , Wisconsin . 1977 began the production of automobiles and kit cars . The brand name was Saber. 1985 the production ended. 

The only model was the GT . It was based on the Opel GT , from which the four-cylinder engine , the power transmission, suspension, brakes, windshield and other parts came. A steel tube frame provided stability. The body was made of fiberglass .
