Northwestern Motorcycle Works was an American manufacturer of automobiles . The brand name was Logan.
The Chicago-based company in Illinois made some automobiles in 1914 . Whether the company also produced motorcycles , and whether it existed before 1914 or even after 1914, is not known.
There was no connection to the Logan Construction Company , which used the same brand name a few years earlier.
The only car model is called Cyclecar . It had an air cooled V2 engine from Spacke . 88.9 mm bore and 93.218 mm stroke gave 1157 cc displacement . The engine was specified with 9/13 hp and made 9 hp . The engine power was transmitted via a friction gear and belt to the rear axle.
The chassis had 259 cm wheelbase and 102 cm gauge . The construction was an open roadster with room for two people next to each other. The vehicle weighed about 227 kg. The original price was $375 .
