Cannonball Run Film from 1980 is an illegal car race across the USA from New York to Los Angeles. later became known to a broader public through several Hollywood films. The First Main high budget film was produced in 1981 and directed by former stuntman Hal Needham, who played a small supporting role himself.The plot is very similar to those of the two 1976 films Cannonball and The World's Craziest Rally.

The film was a huge commercial success and was the sixth highest-grossing film of 1981

The teams use various tricks to compete for victory, but after 3000 miles Marcie and Jill win in their Lamborghini because Victor as Captain Chaos saves a poodle from drowning instead of putting the card in the time clock.
