The American company Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is a tire manufacturing company founded in 1898 by Frank Seiberling in Akron, Ohio USA.
Goodyear manufactures tires for automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, bicycle race cars, airplanes and farm equipment.
By the early 1900s Ford was fitting his Model T cars with Goodyear tires.
By 1926 Goodyear was the largest rubber company in the world and Goodyear is still one of the top four tire manufacturers.
