Lucerna was a Swiss car brand for a short time from the 1900s.
AH Grivel was director of the garage Schweizerhof in Lucerne and importer of Aster engines. In 1907 he began producing automobiles under the brand name Lucerna . In 1909 the production ended after only a few manufactured copies. In 1910, seven Lucerna vehicles were registered in Switzerland.
The offer included four passenger car models. These were the 10/14 hp , the 14/18 hp and the 20/24 hp with four-cylinder engines and the 20/24 hp with six-cylinder engine . The engines came from Aster and the chassis from Malicet & Blin . The engine power was transmitted by means of a cardan shaft to the rear axle. In addition, the truck models 10/12 hp and 12/14 hp were developed with two-cylinder engines and chain drive.
