Leopard Automobile is a Polish retro sports car manufacturer based in the eastern Polish city of Mielec .
History
The company was founded in Warsaw in 1996 by Polish automotive designer Zbysław Szwaj , Swedish automobile enthusiast Alf Näslund , Rolf Skog and Karsten Werntoft. Leopard Automobile is currently offering a 6-liter roadster called the "Leopard", which was first introduced in 2005 at the Paris Motor Show. The car ties with the tradition of the Polish sports car manufacturer Gepard , which until 1995 produced the roadster Gepard GP 8 .The Price: around 100,000 euros in 2009.
At the beginning of 2008, CAR Technology , an engineering services company with offices in Germany, Poland and Slovakia, acquired a 51% stake in the Polish / Swedish sports car manufacturer Leopard.In addition to expanding its development portfolio, CAR Technology , which is mainly active in the automotive industry, hopes to increase its brand awareness.In 2014 the company was Bankrupt.
