Continental Coachwork Pty Ltd was an Australian manufacturer of automobiles . 

Company History 

The company from Sydney began in 1958 under the direction of Mirek Craney with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Ascort . 1960 ended the production. With a total of only 19 vehicles. 

Vehicles 

The only model was based on the chassis of the VW Beetle . Then a lightweight, four-seat coupe body made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic was mounted. The four - cylinder boxer engine was tuned to 41 kW with Okrasa parts by Gerhard Oettinger from Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt  . The maximum speed was specified at 144 km / h.
