Fraser Cars Limited is a New Zealand manufacturer of kit type sports automobiles . The brand name was Fraser .

History

Neil Fraser founded the company in Auckland in 1988 . He started with the production of automobiles avaliable built or as kits.  The vehicles have also been exported to Australia and Japan in the past . By 1996, 174 vehicles built. 2006, Scott and Ida Tristam took over the company.

The cars on offer such as the sports car FC 7 in the style of the Lotus Seven . The basis is an elaborately manufactured frame with a De Dion rear axle . Standard engine was in the beginning a four-cylinder engine from Toyota with overhead camshaft , 2,000 cc engine capacity and 134 hp performance. For racing, a lighter and stronger Cosworth engine was available. The small open body can accommodate two people. 

Later the range of Fraser Clubman classic and more modern Fraser Clubman S with many options built or as kits.
