Scorpion International BV was a Dutch manufacturer of kit car automobiles . The brand name was Maplex .

History

The company from Haarlem started in 1971 with the production of automobiles. In 1973, the production ended after 20 manufactured copies.

The only model Maplex Scorpion was a buggy , but unlike many other buggies was not based on VW . Majoni Plastics designed a steel chassis. The drive was provided by four-cylinder engines from the Fiat 600 and 850 . The vehicles were complete or available as a kit .
