The Mitsubishi Pajero Junior was a mini SUV from Mitsubishi Motors , which was produced between 1995 and 1998.
It was based on an extended Mitsubishi Minica platform and was a larger version of the Mitsubishi Pajero Mini . However, this was mainly designed for export to Asia . The engine used was the SOHC 1.1-liter 16-valve engine (type 4A31) with 3- speed automatic transmission or 5-speed manual transmission .
Unlike the Pajero Mini, the Pajero Junior had the option of having an Easy Select 4WD from the Four-wheel drive could be deactivated or activated while driving. In the standard equipment there was a rigid four-wheel drive. Also had as standard front airbags , side airbags and anti-lock brakes . With the upgrading of the class and the increase in size of the Pajero Mini, the junior was discontinued at the end of 1998.
