The Mitsubishi Cordia is a built from autumn 1982 to mid-1990 Coupe Mitsubishi Motors based on the mid- size sedan Tredia .Avaliable as the GSL or the faster turbo version. With independant Macpherson struts front and coil trailing arm rear with stabilser bar on the turbo version.The U shape rear suspension giving more luggage space for the coupe.
Options include Power steering,headlamp washers,remote mirrors, electric windows and cast alloy wheels max power for the GSL 70kw at 5500rpm and the Turbo 110kw at 6000rpm.
The previous model is still on the Lancer -based Celeste the successor Mitsubishi Eclipse .The term Cordia is a combination of "cordorite" a shiny mineral and "diamonds" for the logo of Mitsubishi.
