The company from Monterrey began in 1989 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Carrena . In 2000 came six vehicles. Production numbers dropped the following year to four, and in 2002 to two. The parent Grupo Carrena makes things out of fiberglass .
The model Tornado was based on a chassis of the VW Beetle . The two-door body resembled a SUV. From 2004 was also the replica of a MG TD in the range.
The Safa was similar to the VW Type 181 .
