The Berna 2VM is a 4x4 truck that Berna produced from 1964 to 1976 in Switzerland by Designer Berna Oltenin a total of 1600 were made. The Berna company was bought by Adolph Saurer AG in 1929 , so the Saurer 2DM was produced at Saurer in Arbon , which is largely the same as the Berna 2VM.

The Swiss army put the Berna 2VM among others also in several special models, such as dump trucks , snow plow or aircraft tankers .Berna 2VM were also sold for civilian purposes.
