The Spyder of the Swabian manufacturer Isdera is a roadster built since 1983 .
History
The first models still had a four-cylinder from the VW Golf GTI with 100 kW (136 hp). From 1985, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.3-16 in the now called 033-16 Spyder .
1987, built the 3.0-liter six-cylinder from the 300 E a. After four years, this was replaced by the new four-valve six-cylinder, also from Mercedes-Benz. These made depending on the model year from 162 to 169 kW (220-230 hp). In addition, in the Spyder 036i from the mid-1990s, a 3.6 -liter six-cylinder from AMG with 210 kW (265 hp) available. A five-speed gearbox provides power transmission to the rear axle in each model.
As a 162 kW version of the Spyder reaches about 260 km / h and does the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds. But the first variant with VW engine creates over 200 km / h.
