The Wanderer W11 10/50 hp is a car which the Wanderer works 1928 brought out as the first six-cylinder model.
The vehicle had a front-mounted, 6-cylinder , 2.55-liter OHV engine, which developed 50 hp and powered the rear wheels via a 3-speed gearbox with shift lever in the middle of the car. The U-profile trolleys had leaf sprung rigid axles and were available as open touring cars, limousines, Pullman sedans, convertibles or roadsters.
In 1930, the car was revised with a four-speed gearbox, a longer wheelbase and new bodies,, the cars were continued until 1933. From 1932, the W11 got a smooth-running Ross steering gear of the gear factory Friedrichshafen AG .1933, the series was replaced after about 5200 copies of the smaller model W22 .
1933-1941 were still created by the Wehrmacht - Kübelwagen W11 / I with the 3-liter engine of Wanderer W14 with about 4500 vehicles made.
