The Stoewer Grief Junior is a passenger car which the automobile company Stoewer  built in 1935 as successor of the type R 180.

The bankruptcy of the Neue Röhr AG in Ober-Ramstadt resulted in the possibility to take over the license and tools of the Tatra 30 from there. So you saved yourself, as before the new Röhr AG, the cost and risk of their own new development.First, the Röhr Junior was continued to be built on. In the spring of 1936, however, the model received after production of about 900 copies a completely new, elegant body of its own construction.

The front wheels hung on a shaftless construction with two transverse leaf springs. The rear wheels were attached to a pendulum swing axle with a transverse leaf spring. The vehicle had an air-cooled four-cylinder OHV - boxer engine mounted front, which powered the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox.

By 1939, the Greif Junior built exactly 4000 copies.
