The Eagle Vista was a compact car manufactured by Mitsubishi for Chrysler as the Eagle Brand from 1989 to 1992.
History
The Eagle Vista was distributed in Canada by Chrysler. The sedan was a renamed version of the second generation Mitsubishi Mirage from Japan. With Front-wheel drive, independent front suspension and rack-and pinion steering with European handling qualities. The station wagons were Mitsubishi Space Wagon.
The engine for the 4-door sedan and the 3-door hatchback was a 1.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder in-line engine or a more powerfull 1.6L turbocharged 4G32 engine with 106 hp , and was available equipped with a manual 4 or 5-speed gearbox or with a 3- stage automatic could be combined.
Vista LX models include tinted glass, remote controlled dual electric mirrors, electronic digital clock, reclining front bucket seats with see-through headrests, and low fuel/low washer fluid warning lights.
The station wagon was equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder SOHC- series engine with manual 5-speed transmission (only version with four-wheel drive) or 3-speed automatic transmission. The sedan was 4295 mm long, the hatchback, however, only 3995 mm.
