The Buick Envision is built since 2014 SUV of the car manufacturer Buick . It is the first China-built vehicle of General Motors sold in America. The model is placed between the Buick Encore and the Buick Enclave .in the US NCAP - crash test (2016) the full 5 stars.

History

At the Chengdu Auto Show 2014 in August 2014, the vehicle was formally first shown publicly. It is since the end of 2014 by Shanghai GM in China built and since October 2014  sold there.On December 4, 2015 Buick announced that the vehicle will be sold in the fall of 2016 in the US. It debuted there at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January 2016 in Detroit .For China, the facelift was introduced in November 2017;  February 2018, it was for the fall of 2019 model year of the North American market. In June 2019, it was announced that GM would not receive customs clearance from the United States Government for the vehicle built in China. 

In the United States, the vehicle having a 2.0 liter petrol engine with turbocharger , the maximum 186 kW (253 hp) or since Model 2017 with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and a maximum net power of 147 kW (200 hp). In China, however, it has been powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 124 kW and a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 191 kW maximum power since its market launch.
