Leyland Tiger TS4 Bus Introduced in 1932, the TS4 differed from the previous Tigers in having a fully floating rear axle, and triple servo brakes. It was powered by a new Leyland 6-cylinder petrol engine of increased size, with a capacity of 7.6 litres, and had a 4-speed sliding mesh gearbox With a wheelbase of 17ft 6in, it is built to carry bodywork of 27ft 6in length, and 7ft 6in width.
Shortly before production of the TS4 ended in 1933, a few chassis were fitted with Leyland's new 8.6 litre
