Leyland Lioness LTBI

The Lioness LTBI was introduced in 1929, being a normal control type chassis with a wheelbase of 16ft 7in. It is fitted with a Leyland T type 6-cylinder petrol engine of 6.8 litres capacity. Transmission is via a single plate clutch and 4-speed sliding mesh gearbox to an underslung worm type rear axle.

The brakes are of the vacuum servo type.

The LTBI remained in production until 1933.
