The Goliath GP coupe in addition to two prototypes of the bodybuilder Johannes Rudy Rometsch built in Berlin 25 coupes with aluminum body on the chassis of the Goliath GP 700 and an engine with the unusual for the time fuel injection.
First, it was a two-cylinder two-stroke engine with a displacement of 688 cc and a power of 29 hp. However, this engine proved too weak and was replaced by a version with 36 hp drilled on 845 cc. The car was much cheaper than the outwardly very similar looking Porsche 356.
The Goliath coupe had a wheelbase of 2.30 meters and a slightly longer body stretched than the Porsche and reached a top speed of 134 km / h. With 830 kg it was 90 kg lighter than the sedan.
