Vesuv (Alfred Hupfeld) History

Vesuvius was a German car brand.

History 

The company of Alfred Hupfeld, which bore his name, began in 1899 in Kassel with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Vesuvius . 1901 ended production.

The offer included three- and four-wheel motorcars.  The vehicles offered space for two people. According to the company, the water-cooled 4- horsepower engine on the tricycle, with its single wheel in the rear, had an electric ignition.
