Taifun was a German car brand from the early 1900s.

History

The company Weidaer Automobilwerke Schmidt & Kellner from Weida was headed by Mr. Schmidt and Georg Kellner.  in 1905.The company's goal was the production of automobiles. The brand name was Taifun (Typhoon) . In 1907, the company went bankrupt .

The small cars built . The model 8/10 hp had a two-cylinder engine . In the 10/12 PS was provided by a four-cylinder engine for the drive. 

One source indicates that the company had planned to build the vehicles, but did not do so. Another source indicates that the company offered the vehicles, but it is unclear whether the company also manufactured the vehicles. The third source explicitly states that Bowle Evans of Regent Street in London sold the vehicles.
