MMB (Motorfahrzeug und Motorenfabrik Berlin AG)
The Motor Vehicle and Motor Factory Berlin AG (MMB) was a German motor, automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturer, which was located in Berlin-Marienfelde from 1899 to 1902 .
In 1899, the company was founded by Max von Duttenhofer and took over the former small engine factory Adolf Altmann . (Adolf Altmann later founded the Altmann Motor Vehicle Works in Brandenburg). On October 2, 1902, the bankrupt MMB was taken over by Daimler and became the most important commercial vehicle factory of this manufacturer.
The manufactured cars were similar to the designs of Daimler, but were of inferior quality. In addition, electric cars and trucks were manufactured with gasoline-electric drive.
