Maxwerke (Harff & Schwarz AG)
The Maxwerke , operating part of the Cologne electricity and automobile company Harff & Schwarz AG , were a German automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturer, which was based in Cologne .
Between 1899 and 1903 there were also built high-wheel motor coaches. The vehicles were powered by gasoline engines , electric motors or both types of engines in common. Distinguishing mark was a vaulted splashboard, similar to the US Oldsmobile Curved Dash .
