D & S Automobile Day & Shepherd , formerly D & S Automobile and Shepherd Tuning - Car Service Center Charles Shepherd , is a dealership and was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
The company Shepherd Tuning - Car Service Center Charles Shepherd was founded in 1982 in Neusäß - Hammel for the production of automobiles. The brand name was D & S . In 1991 it became D & S Automobile , where D stood for Diana Day and S for Charles Shepherd. Later, it was renamed D & S Automobile Day & Shepherd and the move to Affing . It is not known when the car production ended. As a dealership, the company still exists today.
The company made replicas . Initially, chassis were used by the VW Beetle . Later, the Pontiac Fiero was the base. The choice was V6 engines from Pontiac and V8 engines from Chevrolet . In the offer were the models Pegasus as a replica of the Ferrari 308 , Mirage III as a replica of the Ferrari 328 , Marossa as a replica of the Ferrari Testarossa and Corson Spider and Corson Coupé as replicas of the Ferrari 512 BB,
