Äskulap was a German automobile brand.
Company History
The Maschinenfabrik I. Schwarz, Department of Automotive was located in the Linienstraße 154 a in Berlin . In the year 1900 were about 500 cars produced.
Under the similar brand names Esculape (from Paris ) and Aesculap (from Vienna ) similar vehicles with similar brand names were created at about the same time. A connection between these three brands is unknown.
Vehicles
Small voiturettes were produced. The vehicles were with an air-cooled single cylinder- built-in motor of De Dion Bouton equipped at the rear, of the 3 PS made. There was the body style Vis-à-vis .
