The Autohaus Südhannover (AHS) was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company History

The company from Göttingen began in 1969 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was AHS . Around 1978 the production ended.

Vehicles

The only model was the AHS Imp . It was a Buggy based on a VW Buggy , which had been developed by Engineered Motor Products in the United States . An open body made of plastic was mounted on the chassis of a VW beetle .

The drive was provided by a four - cylinder boxer engine . In the model year 1972, the price for a kit was DM 3220 and for a complete vehicle DM 9100. From 1977 Karmann from Osnabrück made some of these vehicles, and AHS sold them.
