The Commer Centaur was launched in October 1931 as a normal control type chassis with a choice of either a I1ft 6in or 12ft 9in wheelbase. Both
the long and short models are powered by a 6-cylinder Commer side valve petrol engine of 22.6hp. Transmission is via a single plate
clutch, 4-speed gearbox, and spiral bevel rear axle.
The brakes are of the Bendix cable type, operating on all four wheels. The Centaur was made up to mid 1935.
