Stinger Automotive

Car manufacturer of Colchester , Essex;Great Britain from 1998 to 2000.

Stinger Automotive was a British manufacturer of kit type  automobiles. The brand name was Stinger .

History

The company from Colchester , County Essex, started producing automobiles and kits in 1998 .   In total, about eight copies were created. In around 2000 the production ended.

The only model was an off-road light vehicle like a sandrail. Instead of a real body, there were interconnected pipes, which at the same time represented something like a rollover device . The four-cylinder engine came from the Mini .
