Valkyrie (Springfield Cycle Company)

Springfield Cycle Company Ltd. was a early British manufacturer of bicycles and automobiles . The brand name was Valkyrie . 

History 

The company from Sandiacre near Nottingham made bicycles. in 1900 started the production of automobiles. In the same year ended the car production.

The model was a compact light car that resembled French voiturettes . A built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton with 3.5 hp power was mounted at the front under a bonnet and powered by a propeller shaft to the rear axle. The transmission had three gears.
