History
John Martin and Paul Ashworth founded in 1985 , the company Specialist Performance Moldings in Whitminster in the county of Gloucestershire . They started with the production of automobiles and kits . The brand name was from 1990 SPM . From 1994 Lakeside Carriage Company from Redditch under the direction of Dave Fuell. 1999 ended the production. A total of about 50 units were built. .
The only model was the SPM 286 . It was inspired by the Ferrari 308 . The body consisted of eleven fiberglass panels .
