The Nuffield organization was a car manufacturer in the United Kingdom . Named after William Richard Morris, 1st Viscount of Nuffield .

History 

The Nuffield organization was formed in 1938. At that time, William Richard Morris united the two owned automobile manufacturer Morris Motor Company and MG with the company acquired in the same year Riley .

This  group ltd with other companys within these,Riley (Coventry) Ltd,M. G. Car Co Ltd,Morris Motors Ltd,,Wolseley Motors Ltd,Morris Commercial Cars Ltd ,Morris Industries Exports Ltd,S. U. Carburetter Co Ltd,Mechanizations and Aero Ltd

World war two Production

In the early 1940s developed the parachute deductible and buoyant " Nuffield Guppy "

1947 developed under the name " Nuffield Gutty " three vehicle prototypes for the British War Department.

1948 began the manufacture of tractors.

In 1952, Nuffield merged with the Austin Motor Company to become British Motor Corporation (B.M.C).
