Micron Cars was a British manufacturer of kit car automobiles from the late 1960s to the early 70s .

History

The brothers Brian and Rex Bray founded the company in 1968 and started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Micron . 1973 ended production. Total created about two copies.

The only model was the GT . The chassis was partly made of wood , as in models by Marcos Cars . A four-cylinder engine of the Mini was mounted in mid-engine construction behind the seats. The body was made of fiberglass . The coupé body had high side walls and gullwing doors and windscreen from a Austin A40 . It accommodated two people and reach 90 miles a hour.
