Hercules Motor Wagon Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles in the early part of the 20th century .
The company from Levenshulme near Manchester began in 1901 with the production of automobiles and heavy trucks. The brand name was Hercules . In 1909 the production ended.The most important production branch was steam cars . They resembled locomotives and had turnbuckles.
Between 1906 and 1907 vehicles were produced with gasoline engine . A four-cylinder engine with 36 hp powered the vehicles.
