History
John Haldane founded in 1988 , the company Haldane Developments Limited in Glasgow in Scotland . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Haldane . In 1993, Brian Harrison and Alisdair Scott took over the production. In 1994, the liquidation began and on January 22, 1999, the liquidation. 1994 took over Pilgrim Cars the company and led it as Haldane Motor Company in Henfield in West Sussex continue. In 2008 the production ended. In total, about 136 copies were made.
The first model was the HD 100 . This was the replica of the Austin-Healey 100 . On a self-developed chassis , a body made of fiberglass . The four-cylinder engine came from the Vauxhall Chevette .
