Freestream was a British car manufacturer based in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire from 2000-2006 . Founders were former McLaren employees Graham Halstead and Ben Scott-Geddes .
The two had previously worked on the McLaren F1 project and now wanted to build a street-legal race car. It designed the freestream T1 .
In April 2006, the company was acquired by the Indian group Caparo . The new company was called Caparo Vehicle Technologies and the Freestream T1 became the Caparo T1 .
