History 

The company from Letchworth Garden City , Hertfordshire began in 1922 with the production of automobiles . The designer was Albert Bowyer-Lowe , who previously worked for JAP . The brand name was Autogear . In the same year the production ended. There was no connection to Autogear Limited of Leeds , who used the same brand name from 1922 to 1923.

The only model was a light vehicle. A two - cylinder, 7 bhp (5.1 kW) in-line engine powered the vehicle via belt
