FF Kit Cars & Conversions Limited was a British company in the field of kit car automobiles .
Tim Cooksey founded the company in County Berkshire in 1981 .They started with the production of automobiles and kits . The brand names were Rat , Alfa and FF . In 1987, the car production ended. . The company produced between 1981 and 1985 VW buggies , which were marketed as a council . It is not known how many of the 420 copies of the Council were produced in this company.Brand name Alfa The only model was the plus . This was a hatchback. The basis was the Alfa Romeo Alfasud . On it a body made of fiberglass was mounted. In this way, the starting material with its good properties such as handling and boxer engine was freed from its bad property, the rust susceptibility of the body. Between 1982 and 1985 came about three copies.
The FF buggy manufactured from 1983 to 1987 was a further development of the Council with ordinary front and resembled the buggy of Country Volks .
